OsNET Trainee
Travel Award

We are pleased to offer the Trainee Travel Award.

A few important notes with respect to the award:

  • 3 trainees per supervisor per calendar year between the STOF and trainee travel award (e.g., 2 trainee travel awards, 1 STOF)
  • Both applicant and supervisor must be members of OsNET and have an updated profile on the OsNET web page
  • The applicant must be registered at a Canadian institution
  • The supervisor’s appointment must be at a Canadian institution

  • The applicant must complete IMHA’s Patient Engagement training modules (4) and upload certificates of completion. Click HERE to access the training modules.

  • Value of award: Travel award is up to $1500.00 to support conference travel

  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year

  • Awardees are expected to acknowledge OsNET in conference presentations (e.g. use OsNET logo on slides/poster, acknowledge funding).
  • Awards are available while sufficient grant funding is in place.
