We are pleased to offer this award to support trainees to attend the International Conference on Children’s Bone Health (ICCBH) in Montreal, June 27-30, 2026.
A few important notes with respect to the award:
This award cannot be combined with a trainee travel award to attend ICCBH. If you have any questions, please contact Meghan (meghan.donaldson@ucalgary.ca)
5 awards will be funded. Should the number of applicants exceed the number of awards available, priority will be given to trainees who have not yet received any OsNET funding (e.g., Summer School, Trainee Travel Award, STOF, etc).
Both applicant and supervisor must be members of OsNET and have an updated profile on the OsNET web page
The applicant must be registered at a Canadian institution
The supervisor’s appointment must be at a Canadian institution
The applicant must complete IMHA’s Patient Engagement training modules (4) and upload certificates of completion. Click HERE to access the training modules.
Value of award: The value of this award is up to $700.00 (consistent with Early Bird registration of €440)
Deadline for applications: June 4, 2026
Awardees are expected to acknowledge OsNET in conference presentations (e.g. use OsNET logo on slides/poster, acknowledge funding).
Awards are available while sufficient grant funding is in place.

2. Abstract and notification of abstract’s acceptance as poster/oral presentation
