CAN-TAP-TALENT (Canadian Training Platform for Trials Leveraging Existing Networks) is building a stronger, more efficient national system for clinical trial training in Canada. It offers hands-on learning, cross-training, and mentorship across provinces and disease areas—equipping a diverse, skilled workforce.
By streamlining training and connecting trainees to top trial experts and multicenter studies, CAN-TAP-TALENT boosts Canada’s capacity to lead impactful, patient-centered research. The platform ensures patients and communities help shape trial questions and share results—so evidence moves faster from discovery to real-world care.
CANTRAIN provides the foundational training, while CAN-TAP-TALENT builds upon that foundation by offering specialized training and opportunities within a broader network of clinical trials professionals. They are complementary initiatives working towards a common goal: improving clinical trials in Canada
Deepen your knowledge. Advance research. Transform lives impacted by Rare Bone conditions.
Though these conditions affect fewer than 20,000 Canadians, their impact is profound—especially for the many children who live with them. Children diagnosed with rare bone disorders often face chronic pain and mobility challenges that not only affect their early years but intensify with age. Rare bone conditions can cause lifelong pain, disability, and uncertainty, yet they remain too often overlooked.
Research offers real hope. Every discovery brings us closer to faster diagnoses, better care, and more effective treatments—improving quality of life and changing futures for patients and families across Canada.
Learn how to turn knowledge into action.
Knowledge Mobilization- Getting your research message out to those who need it the most.
The difference between research that resonates vs. gets overlooked often comes down to one factor-knowledge mobilization. Clear, compelling messages matter. OsNET is focusing on knowledge mobilization skills & resources to make a real difference for patients & researchers alike.
