We are pleased to announce two OsNET trainee funding opportunities:

• Trainee Travel Award
• Special Training Opportunity Fund (STOF)

A few important notes with respect to the award:

1. 3 trainees per supervisor per calendar year between both awards (e.g., 2 trainee travel awards, 1 STOF)
2. Both applicant and supervisor must be members of OsNET and have an updated profile on the OsNET web page
3. The applicant must be registered at a Canadian institution
4. The supervisor’s appointment must be at a Canadian institution
5. The applicant must complete IMHA’s Patient Engagement training modules (4) and upload certificates of completion. Click HERE to access the training modules.
6. Value of award:
   • Travel award is up to $1500 to support conference travel
   • STOF will support 75% of the proposed costs with the remaining 25% secured through other funds. Funding will be to a maximum of $1500.
7. Three deadlines throughout the year- first working day of: September 2025 (except for STOF- November 4, 2025), January 2026 and May 2026
8. Awardees are expected to acknowledge OsNET in conference presentations or when presenting about their training opportunity (i.e., use logo available on website).
9. Awards are available while sufficient grant funding is in place.
